Hello, hello! I thought I'd update while I'm on a happiness high and 'coz at this very moment, I have nothing to do. A rarity for me these days.

First of all, I'm sorry it took me so long to update one of my 100 Themes stories. I was checking my DA page about a week ago and realised I hadn't written a story for the challenge in 5 months.

And thus I magically found my mojo.

I did try and update yesterday for Naruto's birthday, but it didn't happen because the story was getting so dang long. Technically I was only 18 pages in, but I knew I had ages to go and estimated it'd end up at about 30 pages.

So I decided to kill two birds with one stone *no birds were harmed in the process of updating the story*. I cut the story off at the least cliffhanger-y part that happened to fall on the 15 page mark, and thus left me with 3 pages of un-updated story.

Besides, the number it was originally under suits these three pages better. And to let you know, from those three pages, I've already written another 4 pages aready.

And written a blog, and edited 10 stories for my Uni's online newspaper.


Speaking of Uni, it is the single reason I haven't updated, and also the reason I began writing again.

Last week I had two essays due. One on Thursday and one on Friday. Both had to be 2000 words long, each, and were a compare/comtrast essay of one book against another (actually was the differences and similarities between the adaptations of two books).

So, I wrote a 2000 words essay on Wednesday, plus about 3000 words of In the Storm. Then on Thursday I wrote the other 2000 word article plus another 2000 words of the update.

So, imagine that Uni week, times 9. I've had a total of 18 blogs, 4 online quizzes, 3 major articles, 7 minor articles, editing 70 articles, 1 big-@$$ portfolio, 1 speech, 3 essays, plus hours of reading and research and interviews and watching BBC TV adaptations (for essays).

Have you ever read Bleak House by Charles Dickens?? It's 1000 pages long!

And it's not over. I still have one 2000 word essay, one 2000 word article, 4 blogs, the portfolio still due, 3 articles and 30 articles still to edit. Plus reading, researching, interviews and watching more adaptations.

I'm probably the only person on the planet who hates Atonement by Ian McEwan, and it's only because I had to read his Cement Garden last year. DO NOT READ! It is one of the three books I've ever wished I never read.

Anyway, all that is due by the end of October, and then I only have 2 exams. One of those I have to write 2 essays in 3 hours, the other I have to write 3 essays in 3 hours.

Then: FREEDOM

And I will have finished a double degree in Journalism and English!!

But, the entire reason I'm updating! I'm high on happiness. I got 25/30 for one of those many assignments!! I could cry with happiness. I got 20/30 for the last one. As long as I pass the last assignment (the 2000 word article) I've passed the hardest unit of the Journalism degree, and very well!!


OMG Have you read the new FMA chapter (No. 100!!)?? How could they! Why the cliffhanger!! Why do I have to wait a month!!
